Howdy folks!
We're well into our third week on Kickstarter and going strong after the biggest campaign ever for a single issue! Thanks so much for everyone that pledged so far, you are all the best :D
And it's fantastic to be able to give back through Stretch Goals. We have a lot planned to add real extra value to all your pledges and thankfully we've been unlocking them left and right!
And we're less than $400 away from the very next one... check out below what's been unlocked and what's next for us:
I'm personally excited to get all the way up to $50K and make sure everyone pledging at the physical tier gets double the books. That's right, if we make it all the way up there every single backer will get a print copy of the issue in Black & White preserving Fabiano's original artwork!
We still have plenty of time left on the clock, I'm sure we can get there!

Cthulhu Invades Fairy Tales

Time for another round of Spotlights! I think it's always a great idea to exercise that community spirit by highlighting projects from fellow creators and vice-versa. This campaign should really cater to TFAC fans. It's a project that's fully funded and working towards their next Stretch Goal before their campaign is over in about 55 hours.
From their own page: "Imagine a twisted realm where fairy tales collide with cosmic horror. In this dark reimagining, Cthulhu, the Great Old One, invades the enchanting worlds of Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Goldilocks, and Red Riding Hood, warping their stories into nightmarish landscapes. 20 Orginal Stories by over 50 incredible comic creators got together to bring the blending the Traditional and Grimm Fairy Tales that we loved growing up with the cosmic horror of H.P Lovecraft - Call Of Cthulhu Universe."
Falling Awake - A Sci-Fi Horror Graphic Novel

While this campaign is also fully funded it does have a bit more time on the clock and ends in about six days. The artwork looks absolutely stunning and they are crowdfunding a 280-page book, talk about getting the most for your buck!
From their own page: "After awakening from cryosleep on a remote and hostile planet, John finds himself stranded with a young girl and a looming threat that isn't human. As they struggle to survive and unravel the mystery of their predicament, John must confront the demons of his past and his place in the universe, forced to reflect on his life's choices and reconcile with a past that has haunted him. In the face of a harsh and unforgiving landscape, John must find the strength to overcome his own fears and forge a new path forward, before it's too late to escape the planet and start anew."

Phase 1 Stretch Goals completed! Here's the Phase 2 announcement \o/

What an incredible first week on Kickstarter! It's been exactly one week since the launch and lo and behold we've unlocked a whopping nine Stretch Goals already with over 1000 backers!!
We've completed Phase 1 already but if you thought we are done with the freebies and Stretch Goals, think again ;)
Check out what's next in store for us:
As of right now we're less than $1K away from Stretch Goal #10 and the first of the new phase. It's the perfect moment to tell a friend about The Few and Cursed ;)
I'd love to unlock everything listed above, especially the print copy of the book in Black & White. We've done physical copies of the Ashcans since issue #1 and we have to keep it going!

I highly recommend you find and follow Fabiano Neves on Instagram. He is currently hard at work on issue #10 and you get to check out sneak peeks. This issue is going to be so action-packed it's basically one big set piece from beginning to end.
And Nobody is terrifying, I cannot wait for you to see him in action!!

How y'all doin' this fine afternoon?!
I'm absolutely floored! We are already nearing 1000 backers and it's been only 24hrs, thank you all so much for pledging!
Since our launch yesterday not only we funded in 92 minutes but we also blasted through SIX STRETCH GOALS! We're almost through Phase 1 entirely, that's how awesome this campaign has been and thanks to all that pledged :D
Before I get into the nuts and bolts of everything unlocked so far allow me to share a couple of Kickstarter campaigns that are ending this week and truly deserve more backers.
I'm a firm believer of the community spirit around Kickstarter and it's a joy to collaborate with two other creators I've personally met and teamed-up in the past. Check it out:

WINDS OF NUMA SERA - THE BOARD GAME

Winds of Numa Sera is a dark fantasy epic that started as a graphic novel on Kickstarter, which then got picked up by publisher Dark Horse Comics (Hellboy, Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher).
I got a chance to meet the creators Morgan and Jonny a few years back, and we’ve become big fans of one another. They turned their graphic novel into an amazing board game, and are currently running their own Kickstarter, which ends this Friday, Aug 16th! So make sure you check it out now!
TREKKER: REBEL HEART

Trekker is a creator-owned sci-fi series by Ron Randall, one of the nicest guys you'll ever back around here, that has had incredible success on Kickstarter including this latest campaign ending in 30+ hours and hitting Stretch Goals with nearly 900 backers.
Every volume of Trekker is designed to be new reader-friendly. REBEL HEART introduces the characters and the world, established a new challenge for Mercy, and takes us on a complete, self-contained adventure from beginning to the tale's resolution. If you’ve never read Trekker before, you’ll have no trouble jumping in with REBEL HEART. That’s a guarantee.
Alright, let's check out everything unlocked so far! There's something for everyone including already my favorite Stretch Goals: collectible cards!
I'm a big card collector myself so of course I had to work on my own card collection which now boasts more than 90 cards featuring the Redhead and other characters of the TFAC universe \o/
Phew, quite a lot, am I right?!
And I'm positive we will get to unlock much more yet! Please do share the word about The Few and Cursed with friends, fans and other readers. The more backers we get, the more Stretch Goals we unlock, the more extra items everyone gets.
