The Few and Cursed is a creator-owned comic book series about people trying to survive a wicked world where most of the water was gone overnight in a mysterious apocalyptic event in 1840.
The Redhead is a hardened survivor that was born in this reality and now fights to protect the innocent. As the land fell into darkness a group of men and women decided to take a stand and fight back, they are known as Curse Chasers.

Well, this is exciting!!!
One more issue, one more campaign ✅
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR ANOTHER INCREDIBLE CAMPAIGN!!!
We might not have unlocked everything in phase 2 but damn it if we didn't get close enough!! And let's face it, having unlocked a whopping 16 Stretch Goals is not too shabby at all \o/
In the past 48hrs here's everything unlocked, folks:
Yep, we made it all the way to $50K meaning everyone that pledged towards a physical copy of The Few and Cursed #10 will now get TWO copies - one in pristine black and white preserving Fabiano's ink work!!
We absolutely did it, woot woot, congrats, everyone!!!
WHAT IS NEXT FOR TFAC?
First a little bit of business. Please note your credit cards have been charged already and if they haven't they will be in the next few days. If there are any problems Kickstarter will automatically ask for backers to fix the issue and try again for about a week or so.
If you have any questions regarding payment please reach out directly to Kickstarter. There isn't much I can do other than check on errored payments and send a message to you to try and help mediate any assistance needed with Kickstarter.
Make sure your payment methods are up to date to avoid dropped pledges.
If by any chance your pledge gets dropped and you still have an interest in your rewards, do not fret, you still counts as a backer when I send out the Pledge Manager surveys via BackerKit and you will have yet another chance to correct your payment method and confirm the pledge.
The script for The Few and Cursed has been completed and Fabiano has been working daily on the artwork. We really plan to finish up production in the eight weeks for a digital fulfillment to happen sometime in December.
In the next six to eight weeks I also hope to have finished casting all the artists for the various items unlocked via Stretch Goals and as soon as they start turning in layouts and finished pieces you will also be the first ones to see.
THE FEW AND CURSED #11 IS OUR NEXT CAMPAIGN!
That's right, we will just focus on the Redhead adventures for the time being putting on hold some of the new graphic novels set in the same universe.
It's no secret I have high hopes and dreams for The Few and Cursed, it's truly a rich sandbox with infinite potential but going into 2025 we plan on pulling back some of peripheral stories and focus on The Great Deluge.
So next up is The Few and Cursed #11 sometime in the Winter, around the holidays. We will wrap up this issue before launching a new campaign so stay tuned for news!

WILD WISPS #1 - 2: a comic of creatures, fantasy, & myth
Another prolific creator around Kickstarter with a spotless record, Pat has a keen eye for beautiful art and his writing is even better!

Fully funded, award-winning project and a kick-ass hardcover celebrating an awesome series! Make sure to check out Markisan's project, it will be worth it!

Last but certainly not least we have another funded project with a cartoonish style art that will impress anyone! I've had the privilege of meeting Thane personally at a comic con and there isn't a nicer creator out there.

I can't thank enough these amazing creator for their collaborations with The Few and Cursed and myself, it truly brings out the best Kickstarter has to offer \o/

Howdy folks!
How are you all this fine afternoon? As we go into our final days here on Kickstarter I couldn't have more exciting news to share!
First off, we unlocked a couple of Stretch Goals over the past few days and you can check them out below:
A new trading card added to EVERY package going out the mail and a brand new artwork, exclusively commissioned, for the Regular & Variant editions!
I love being able to get new art featuring the Redhead, she's such a hypnotic character and artists love illustrating her \o/
We still have a lot of cool stuff to unlock including a personal favorite: the Ashcan edition!
That's a second book added to every physical package and it's the best way to see Fabiano's artwork as it is the full issue in black and white.
It's three Stretch Goals ahead but I have every confidence we will get there! I mean, we're close to the next as is, just a touch more than $1K!
In my last Update I mentioned Upgrading your pledge but I forgot to share instructions how to go about it, allow me to rectify that.
How do I upgrade my pledge?
Visit the project's page on Kickstarter one more time and you'll see a "Manage your pledge" green button just up top.
I've backed Death Transit Tanager 2 a while back and this is what showed up at the top of the project's page. From there I can edit my pledge, let's go on to the next page ;)
When you click that green button you'll be redirected to your pledge's info page - payment method, reward chosen and estimated delivery.
At the bottom you can spot a Change your pledge blue button:
And voilá!
A new screen pops up where you can pick any other reward tier still available.
If you are at a digital only tier please do consider an Upgrade to a physical tier, the extras unlocked through Stretch Goals alone are already worth the upgrade!
I know we will have a BIG 48 final hours on Kickstarter but it all starts with us, right here, with everyone that believed in Red and TFAC since day 1!

You know the drill, folks, to celebrate the community spirit amongst creators we continue to share projects across each other's backers. I got some really cool projects to share starting with Clovis by Curtis Clow!
It is a fully funded project ending in just about 28 hours so if the premise catches your attention make sure to check it out asap!

Derek Laufman is a terrific comic book artist and I love seeing his stuff here on Kickstarter. His latest project is also fully funded, like way over funded, and hitting Stretch Goals.
From his own page: "Sir Duncross, the infamous monster hunter and his humble scribe Father McKellen are hired to kill the fabled monster of Shore Tower Island. However, the secrets of the island run deep and when the power of an ancient god is unleashed they soon learn they are the ones being hunted. Crimson Fall is Hellboy meets the Witcher."
HAUNTING #1-7: Return of the Possessed Ex-Girlfriend
I honestly don't know how they do it but Phil & Kat are outstanding creators with campaigns on Kickstarter pretty much throughout the year. You'll always see either one, sometimes both, with an exciting and well put-together campaign for a gorgeous book!
And yep, they always get funded... from his own page: "Wherever bratty teenage boy Bram goes, ghosts appear - restless spirits that attack the living viciously and without prejudice. Bram's spent his entire life turning a blind eye to the destruction and death caused by his strange ability. He didn't ask for this curse, so (by his logic, at least) none of it is his fault. Enter Hope - a jaded ghost hunter and the twin sister of Bram's friend, Faith - who makes it her mission to end Bram's unintentional reign of terror. Permanently."
Three absolutely amazing projects which I wholeheartedly recommend to all of you, check them out, you won't regret it :D

Hey beautiful backers!
We're going into our final stretch here on Kickstarter, last week, the campaign to fund production of The Few and Cursed #10 wraps up next week September 19th!
Production on the book has been well advanced and my plan and Fabiano's is to have a quick turnaround - certainly a lot quicker than previous issues.
As of right now the script is 100% completed and Fabiano has just finished up the layouts up to page 20, which is roughly 2/3 of the book.
By this time next week I think we'll have finished up all the layouts giving Fabiano everything he needs to continue producing about three pages a week.
We really want to shorten up the time between campaigns and if all goes well, our next Kickstarter campaign will be to fund production of TFAC#11 and it will launch after digital fulfillment is completed on this one.
Unfortunately physical fulfillment still takes a couple months, sometimes even three months, between manufacturing the books in China, getting them over to the UK and US hubs and then finally pack and ship them to backers.
However, we're super stoked we have been making steady progress and the book is looking amazing, we have so much cool "shit" happening in this issue we really can't wait for you all to experience it!
While we're working together on layouts, Fabiano is producing the pencils for new pages and we're about 1/4 of the way there having finished close to seven pages so far.
TIME TO UPGRADE PLEDGES & SHARE THE PROJECT!
I really, REALLY, wanna make it all the way up to $50K and beyond so we unlock the Ashcan edition - that means double the books for everyone at zero extra cost \o/
And how else can you help us get there on top of pledging?

I have no idea what's gonna happen in the next few days but I do know that this Kickstarter campaign has been nothing short of stellar. Let's go at those final moments with everything we got and I'm sure the sky is the limit!
First off this project looks absolutely stunning, secondly it's over-funded and unlocking Stretch Goals, but more importantly it's from a good friend of mine that believed in The Few and Cursed at the very very beginning. David Hedgecock worked at IDW and really championed Red and co. back when we were trying to find a home for the series. Cut to a few years later and David has got his own expert Kickstarter happening and I couldn't be happier to champion his project too :D

This one hits horror fans right where it counts, the black and white interior art is absolutely gorgeous and while the project is still working to reach 100% funded I have no doubt they will get there having some time left yet on the clock.

We're well into our third week on Kickstarter and going strong after the biggest campaign ever for a single issue! Thanks so much for everyone that pledged so far, you are all the best :D
And it's fantastic to be able to give back through Stretch Goals. We have a lot planned to add real extra value to all your pledges and thankfully we've been unlocking them left and right!
And we're less than $400 away from the very next one... check out below what's been unlocked and what's next for us:
I'm personally excited to get all the way up to $50K and make sure everyone pledging at the physical tier gets double the books. That's right, if we make it all the way up there every single backer will get a print copy of the issue in Black & White preserving Fabiano's original artwork!
We still have plenty of time left on the clock, I'm sure we can get there!
Time for another round of Spotlights! I think it's always a great idea to exercise that community spirit by highlighting projects from fellow creators and vice-versa. This campaign should really cater to TFAC fans. It's a project that's fully funded and working towards their next Stretch Goal before their campaign is over in about 55 hours.
From their own page: "Imagine a twisted realm where fairy tales collide with cosmic horror. In this dark reimagining, Cthulhu, the Great Old One, invades the enchanting worlds of Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Goldilocks, and Red Riding Hood, warping their stories into nightmarish landscapes. 20 Orginal Stories by over 50 incredible comic creators got together to bring the blending the Traditional and Grimm Fairy Tales that we loved growing up with the cosmic horror of H.P Lovecraft - Call Of Cthulhu Universe."
While this campaign is also fully funded it does have a bit more time on the clock and ends in about six days. The artwork looks absolutely stunning and they are crowdfunding a 280-page book, talk about getting the most for your buck!
From their own page: "After awakening from cryosleep on a remote and hostile planet, John finds himself stranded with a young girl and a looming threat that isn't human. As they struggle to survive and unravel the mystery of their predicament, John must confront the demons of his past and his place in the universe, forced to reflect on his life's choices and reconcile with a past that has haunted him.
